The facts so far!

First

1. We rented a apartment from associated land group!

2. We had to qualify for the H.U.D program to rent the apartment!

3. We all had to sign the lease!

4. We all had to pay for a credit check apiece!

5. We had to read and sign the apartment rules!

6. Our son went to make the apartment inspection and was rushed through we did not see the hole in the screen door or the dirty bathroom that was left with cleaning powder and cleaner in the toilet because the manger was leaving in fifteen minutes because of an appointment!

7. We were not warned about the apartment flooding at the time of rental!

8. We did not qualify for the special that was being ran and had to pay the full rent and deposit to rent the apartment!

9. We had to wait a week before renting the place due to carpet being laid!

10. The manger changed form treva jermer to adora ?  to josh weir in January!

11. from November to December there was just one incident of loud noise and that was when Greg Daughtery sat on the wall beside our apartment and beat on the wall with a hammer and this incident was handled immediately by adora!

12. In January our paper started being stolen we contacted the paper and was told they would replace the paper and after several times we had the paper delivered to our patio. At which time we thought we had a new maintenance man as we saw him picking up trash and as it had just snowed we waited to get the paper from the patio and we looked out and saw it was gone so we thought that the new maintenance man took it and we found out that it was the new manger and when we asked him about it and he said that he had the right to clean the porches and we pointed out that their was only a paper on the porch and he told us that it was his porch and he would clean it any time he wanted! Even though it states in the lease that each tenant was responsible for his porch and my wife cleaned the porch every day sweeping the porch and collecting our paper! And the manger josh weir when confronted asked us if we wanted the fifty cents and my replied no we wanted the paper and he said jeez its just a paper do you want me to get you a paper and my replied yes and he then brought us a paper and he told us that he kept the place trash free because the lower apartment drains would flood and this was the first we were told about this by the management after we had already moved in! and we contacted Marsha demasters about this and she said that the people their wanted josh back as manger and he could be abrupt at times " what we call rude where we come from "!

13. Later in the month the girl called Lauren daughtery buzzed our apartment and ran around the back to the other side how did we know this we followed the foot track in the snow and caught them on the other side of the building and when we confronted them they said they were looking for whom buzzed their apartment and we called the police and and while we awaited the police to arrive they said they were going to their apartment and when they arrived let them know as they lived in apartment #j of course when they arrived the police went to apartment #j and no one answered!  The woman from apartment #k told the police that no one had lived their for a month! Of course we found out that the woman was Karen Daughtery the mother of Lauren Daughtery. " This is when the harassment began and would not end till June 24th and would grow in to actual criminal  acts "

14. After contacting management about the noise and the playing in the hallway and the beating and slamming of the outside door and buzzer being to our apartment being buzzed late at night the response was that their were many children living in the apartments and he had know way of knowing whom it was!

15. So we bought a digital camera and took pictures  catching them in the act of ringing the buzzer!

16. The mother " Karen daughter " comes down stairs and demands to know why we took pictures of her children. In doing so she ends up telling us that she had been sending her children to get the paper off our porch thinking that it was her's and after speaking to the newspaper I found out that her paper had been stopped for nonpayment in December!

17. We present the pictures of her children to josh weir showing him and even burned a CD with the noise and them locking out other children in the cold and them beating on the door! and his response was that he would talk to them and he did and they continued!

18. It would be easier to say what they did not do! Here is a list of what they did do starting with ringing the buzzer to our apartment, stealing newspaper, throwing a basketball against our wall and breaking my wife's spice rack she got for Christmas , making loud noise in the hallway, jimmying the lock to the outside so that the security door never worked , standing in front of the doorway to the building parking bikes in the doorway and riding those bikes down the stair's , climbing in and out of the laundry room, throwing bottles over cars, mooning people in the parking lot, climbing from the outside three stories to their apartment from balcony to balcony, having their friends beat on our vehicle, slicing our fuel line, threating us with knives, beckoning for us to come out of our home late at night and fleeing when we call the police, flipping us off and making lewd acts in the parking lot " acting as if they were committing oral sex, and asking neighbors for food because they were locked out and while in their apartment they would tell them they were stoned, sleeping in the hallway, keeping a pet, vandalizing our van by writing foul language on it, sending their friends to slash our tires, " as they were arrested " hiding in amada dixon home and leaving and coming through their house to vandalize our vehicle peeping our windows, throwing bottles against our vehicle placing carpentry screws behind our tires , trying to run over my son , trying to run over me, filing false police  reports against me calling the police when my van was parked in the handicap parking spot as we were unloading grociers " as the handicap parking spot was never used because no one that lived their was handicap and it was not properly marked " shinning car light into our house to blind the camera, having the dixons friends threaten us.

 19. Management not willing to enforce any rule's and making racial slur's threating to evict us because we reported Fred and Amanda to the metropolitan housing authority!

20. Making the promise that once the daughtery's left if they set foot back on the property they would be arrested for criminal trespassing. and would not give us a paper to the effect or even filing the order with the police as promised!

21. Management sending children to beat on our wall and giving them candy to do so!

22. Allowing the dixions to harass us after the daughtery's left.

23. Over looking people living their when in the rules it states that if any one living or even staying there must be on the lease!

24. Over looking the welfare fraud while threating us who pays their own rent to throw us out when our rent was paid because we reported the harassment to the proper authority's and the next month refusing to take our rent!

25. Pulling behind our van late at night and flipping me off " this is not proper behavior of a apartment manger!

26. Refusing the offer of a neighbor hood watch because of insurance .

27. Allowing for large trucks and motorcycles even though it states clearly that no motorcycles or vehicles larger than a van!

 

This is not all but each incident was filed with police except when contact with management then copies were kept of each note and letter given to management!
